You can’t go wrong with a romantic barn venue, and the views at Olympia’s Valley Estate in this Sonoma wedding coming to us from Annie McElwain and Downey Street Events are unmatched. Jeanette and Nick wanted their wedding to feel like a modern fairytale with a palette of blushy neutrals and lots of greenery. And with elegant drapery surrounding the tables, stunning spring blooms, and a blush Monique Lhuillier gown, the details certainly conveyed an air of magic.

Jeanette and Nick’s Greek heritage played a huge role in the planning process which they honored by getting married in their local Greek Orthodox Church, placing Jordan almonds at each person’s place setting, serving handmade Greek desserts, and having a Greek band play throughout the night alongside the DJ. They also had gyros for late night snacks!
The tablescape featured beautiful neutral tabletop rentals from Theoni, and a mix of low flower arrangements and ikebana arrangements by Max Gill.
Hensley Event Resources helped them design three wooden structures that were built to add height and dimension to the dinner space with custom drapery by Hensley and uplighting by Got Light.
There’s that iconic barn entrance we all looooove!
A fairytale for sure! Congratulations, Nick and Jeanette!
