Annelise + Rob’s San Ysidro Ranch wedding proves yet again that sometimes plan B turns out to be the wedding you didn’t know you dreamed of. When they began planning pre-pandemic, they wanted a large wedding at the bride’s mom’s house in Los Angeles. But when COVID forced them to change course, they had to rethink what they wanted all along… and it’s tough to think of this gorgeous garden wedding captured by Kelly Brown Weddings with planner Flyte 44 Events going any other way!
The bride explains, Planning our new date in March 2022 made us reevaluate what was really important to us in our wedding, so we looked for something super intimate with only our parents, siblings and wedding party. Despite all the ups and downs, it was truly perfect. That would be our biggest advice to anyone planning a wedding: It won’t all go exactly how you envisioned, but it will always turn out exactly as it should.
They held their ceremony in the rose garden, officiated by one of their closest friends.
We wanted our wedding to feel like a garden dinner party with friends, so we opted for natural colors, organic-feeling wildflowers, and amazing food and wine. Which made San Ysidro Ranch a perfect fit! It is just the most magical, timeless place on earth. It feels like an escape from the real world, and we loved how intimate it feels with its little cottages and beautiful gardens.
They all wined and dined in an intimate reception around the fireplace, followed by blood orange margaritas and an afterparty downtown.
Truly the most stunning venue if you’re dreaming of a garden wedding!
