Modern minimalist wedding ideas meet Denver’s stately 19th and 20th century neoclassical architecture in this luxe editorial coming to us from new 100LC guide members Jordan Katz and Roughage Floral. With wedding colors of yellow, green, white, and black, the team sought to show couples an urban Colorado wedding in the city rather than heading straight to the mountains. Real couple Kevin + Jack… and their pup… helped them bring this celebratory vignette to life!

The design was conceptualized around sculptural, masculine details and unique floral designs along with monochromatic tabletop elements punctuated by pops of black. We opted for an enhanced floral boutonniere along one groom’s lapel, and a traditional boutonniere for our second groom. The ceremony altar was designed to mimic and highlight the columns present in the venue, with the addition of luxe and organic spring floral arrangements.
Such a perfect setting!
The table setting was meant to be intimate and elevated, so the meal was set around one long banquet table, draped with velvet bone-colored linens in a king’s drape. All of the tabletop elements were designed to play into one cohesive and somewhat monochromatic scheme, so that the focus could remain on the architectural elements and the floral design.
As another nod to historic element within their modern minimalist theme, they included a vintage Jaguar for the grooms’ portraits.
