Since birthday girl Sadie’s Korean name 나리 (nari) means lily flower, mama Carol loved the idea of a flower market themed 1st birthday. She enlisted Diana of Paperlattes to turn a warehouse venue into a French-inspired market stall complete with treats, custom totes, and a DIY bouquet station of their own. See all the details from this girls first birthday and Korean dol, including the prettiest giant paper flowers by Floral Lab LA, as you scroll through Erin J Saldana‘s photos below!
They included signage by Paper Haven Shop throughout that said “Fresh Flowers since 2022,” how cute is that for a 1st birthday?
It goes without saying that LV Floral Events did an impeccable job channeling the flower market theme with custom floral arrangements above and below.
Love this beautiful, simple flower 1st birthday cake topper for a garden party.
Sugar cookies channeled both the flower theme and the Korean dol ceremony. So pretty!
Rather than a simple floral theme, they wanted the scene to look ethereal and whimsical, so they included giant paper flowers by Floral Lab. Kind of reminds us of the dreamy flowers from this magical wedding ceremony!
Love the balloons on their flower stand too!
They wanted to channel a true flower market experience, where guests could could stop by and enjoy pastries, then take home a nice bouquet of flowers in a cute tote.
We’ve seen many a ball pit at children’s parties, but this color scheme is too cute!
Speaking of cute… how darling is Sadie all dressed up for her traditional doljanchi celebration? It’s the exact design that’s mirrored in those sugar cookies!
Flowers, treats, and giant paper flowers… what a beautiful girl’s first birthday it was. See more first birthday ideas here!
