Today, we’d like to introduce you to an amazing talent Jen Huang Photography. We love everything she captures. Now lets get to know the women behind the camera shall we.
What is or has been your favorite wedding moment? My favorite wedding moment is when the bride and groom come down the aisle after their ceremony. The look on their faces is one of pure bliss and joy. Being a part of humankind’s happiest days is what makes me feel so blessed.
Favorite wedding trend of the moment? There are so many trends I love: pairing florals with fruits, vegetables and other organic items… replacing veils with beautiful headpieces… creative designed “spaces and backdrops” at outdoor weddings
Wedding trend you’d love to see disappear forever? I am not a fan of the concept of trashing the dress after a wedding – I think dresses that brides don’t want to hold on to should be donated to charity.
Do you have a favorite song/band/style of music? Does it define or help shape your work? I love putting on Edith Piaf when I want to lounge around, or Debussy and other romantic period pianists for when I want to get things done. Of course the occasional top 40 does make it in my playlist when I just want to have fun.
Is there an artist/designer/generally creative person in a totally different field who inspires you? There are so many artists who continue to inspire me! I love looking to fashion, interior design for inspiration in my wedding work.
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be? book binder or collector of well crafted objects.
Favorite summer food? cherries!
Thanks Jen! Also, be sure to check out Jen’s new workshop dates in California this November.
