Alas, this sun-filled long weekend must come to an end. Not to worry – we’ve got a great week ahead and are kicking it off with a little throwback to the 1920’s. Remember last week when we wished for more Jazz Age weddings? Our little wish came true when Shannon + Ed’s roaring wedding shot by Weddings By Two came our way. Shannon is a seriously talented handbag designer and amazing creator of this Upcycled Doily Lamp (which is blowing our minds). Oh how we love our creative brides!
Dying over their fab feather headpieces, veils, and dresses? We are too. Shannon purchased her entire get-up at Patricia South’s Bridal (which just so happens to be her parent’s shop!). The bridesmaids were also dressed in a variety of gorgeous dresses from Patricia South’s and all had free reign to make their own feather headpieces!

The very Gatsby-esque Ram’s Head Inn couldn’t have been a more perfect venue. It was even built in that era! And, those small bottles (filled with tasty whiskey) as their favors? Love. Super easy DIY – Shannon designed and printed the labels and also used the bottles as place cards with a kraft tag of each guest’s name. What guest wouldn’t love walking away with one of those bad boys?
As you’d imagine their first dance was simply romantic. They had Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra play Night & Day.

Are you thinking what we’re thinking? One, Patricia South’s dresses are so intricately gorgeous that we kind of wish we could get away with wearing one for each day of the week. Two, how fun would it be to have all your guests dress in theme? It’s actually not that hard. Shannon told us that 99% of her guests came dressed up all thanks to having included “Jazz Age attire suggested” on their invitations. Great tip! Congrats Shannon + Ed!
