Is it any secret that we love Project Runway? Last week you may have seen us feature a bride in an amazing Christian Siriano gown. Today, we’re rolling with the PR love by sharing another adorable bride, this time in a one-of-kind Leanne Marshall dress! We first discovered Lesley + Galen’s wedding on Kate Miss’ blog For Me, For You. The soft ivory & delicate lace in Lesley’s dress (taken from her mother’s wedding dress) and glitzy Kate Spade heels were like icing on a cupcake. Then we found out that Lesley blogged about the experience of having Leanne as her personal designer! Lucky gal!
Those heels are lovely in the front party in the back. Oh, Kate Spade…you do what you do so well!
My unofficial theme was “fun for adults.” Instead of table numbers, we did table “animals”. The animal table cards were actually prints by Berkley Illustration and were a huge hit! For the favors, my friend Jake used to work at a nursery, so he ordered a bunch of air plants and we stuffed them in jars. Then we printed everyone’s name with a picture of their table animal,stuck them onto tiny tags, and tied them around the jars with baker’s twine. It took a REALLY long time and was sort of insane, but fun at the same time.
Any other brides out there wearing a dress designed by a former Project Runway star? No? If you had the option of choosing, who would you pick? Christian & Leanne are hard to beat.
