If you had the choice to have a ferris wheel at your wedding, wouldn’t you book it in a heartbeat? It ain’t a Southern and country fair wedding without one. And now that we’ve spoiled the ending to their wedding we can just go right into saying that everything pretty much fell into place for Logan + Ryan once they locked down that crazy, fun and colorful carnival ride. After that it was all whimsy, laid back, BBQ, popcorn and soda pop fun.
If anyone from J.Crew is reading this and needs an entire wedding party of models, look here. Every person in the wedding party including Logan + Ryan (and the cute flower girls) wore J.Crew.
We didn’t do traditional flowers. They are expensive. They die. They didn’t seem to fit our theme. So we went with fake flowers for the bridesmaids to carry. I actually found these giant wooden flowers from Z Gallerie for 5 bucks a piece on a clearance sale. Not too shabby.
Most excited groom ever!
For our centerpieces, I really wanted to have big cuts of tree trunks with candles and glass bottles on top. But making that vision come true was VERY difficult. It turns out most gardeners and landscapers don’t have the appropriate tools to cut a tree in that way, so we went to a lumber yard in south LA to find someone to cut a tree the way we wanted…only 4 days before the wedding!
Their first dance was to “Better Together” by Jack Johnson.
The most important vendor to us was EPlove. We understood that the only thing that lasts after the wedding-other than the marriage-were the photos. We searched for months to find the perfect photographer to not only capture our wedding but the mood of the wedding. Obviously, we were THRILLED with the outcome.
Ok – they win for having the best guest activity. Congratulations Logan + Ryan!
