Thank goodness for creative people coming together to bring us such pretty inspiration shoots, right? They’re the people that help make birthday parties, showers, weddings and dinner parties so much more than just plastic cups and paper plates. Brita Olsen Creative created the concept and styling behind this unique tablescape that we think is perfect for a fancy little summer or fall (thinking ahead) party!
A faded map serves as a table runner for an air of Tuscan romance that gives a nod to a nomadic lifestyle. Footed planters and pheasant figurines found on Etsy add a touch of whimsy, and accents of gold and brass add elegance complimented by the saturated hues of orange and blue. The mixing and matching of different votives and glasses adds an eclectic and informal touch to the table.
The color story is enriched with beautiful and unfussy arrangements by Rachel Mercier Flowers. Rachel used sahara tulips, pincushion protea, salmon parrot tulips, dustry miller and delphinium to create the wild but refined look.
What’s the fun of seeing all these pretty items and not knowing where they came from! So happy these ladies are sharing their secrets. Here are the goods: napkins from Saffron Marigold, mercury votives from Timeless Settings, flatware from Herdmar, dishes were Etoile by Bernadaud, the olive wood fruit bowl is from Italy, Moroccan glasses came from Morocco but can be found at CasablancaMarket.com, the gold dot champagne glasses were from Roost and the pheasants and footed planter found on Etsy.
Tory, Brita and Rachel’s collaborations are amazing, aren’t they? They all have an appreciation for a sophisticated and chic but playful and organic aesthetic and we can’t wait to see what they collaborate on next!
