It is no secret that Breakfast At Tiffany’s is a common trend in bridal events, so what would be a better tribute than to have Sugar & Fluff give their own spin on the theme? They told us the shower strayed from the theme of the wedding in terms of colors and style, but by incorporating graphic elements from their stationery, such as the flourished lettering and lasercut signs, the ladies in attendance were given a subtle tribute of what’s to come, come wedding day. They brought the glamour by fusing Chanel’s spring 2012 line along with the signature tiffany blue, and incorporated elements of the classic movie with hints of white pearls. Sounds fab, right?
Last season, Karl Lagerfeld embellished outfits with pearls, replacing belts, accessories and hair ornaments. To recreate this awesome idea, we made custom table runners that had hand encrusted pearls in the detailed lace fabric. We complimented the opalescence with milk glass tumblers with flowers overflowing onto the runners. The look would not have been complete without the amazing furniture rentals from Jessica at Disregarden and her custom dark brown reclaimed wooden tables.
Beautiful 1960s hats/hat boxes and antique jewelry were collected for the photo booth.
Loving that backdrop and this entire shower! Any excuse to get fancy with your favorite ladies in one place is always a plus. To the amazing creatives below, thank you for inspiring us all to throw on our pearls! And of course, congratulations to Heather!
