Keely + Jason took the nostalgic road when planning their wedding. After visiting Wandawega, a vacation wonderland in Wisconsin with glamping-approved teepees on the lake, camp-like grounds for shuffleboard, tennis, archery and volleyball, and charming vintage decor, K + J were sold. Summer camp style wedding it was going to be. A few trips to the flea market for lanterns, thermoses, flashlights and anything that screamed Parent Trap (the original), and an assortment of wildflowers accented their antique finds and helped complete the nature-loving theme.
Some of my favorite moments of the day took place on the dance floor. It became the literal centerpiece of our wedding. Whether our two-year-old nieces were twirling with delight or my parents were dancing in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary, the energy was magnetic. We never strayed far from the music and loved every minute of the celebration.
This definitely makes us want to host a bonfire, roast mallows and drink beer from a canoe. Congratulations Keely + Jason!
