Jenni + Jeff are kinda a couple after our own hearts. Modern and playful graphic design, big balloons with tassels trailing behind them, and a party that ends with everyone in the pool—with their clothes on. Yep, their Palm Spring soiree has all the makings for a magical and fun desert wedding. Jenni’s Valentino bow pumps? Major swoon alert. See a similar style here.
Jenni created all the stationary and signage for the day. Hidden talent, much?
From Jenni… The night we met four years ago, Jeff and I tied little strings on each other’s wrists—almost as if we knew that we’d be tied together for the rest of our lives. Amazingly, these pieces of string stayed on that entire time, so we decided to make an exchange of these strings for the more permanent tokens of wedding rings during the ceremony. We had a piece of driftwood engraved with the date we met and our initials, then cut the strings off of each other’s wrists during the ceremony to tie them both onto the driftwood. We now have these elements in an antique glass vase in our home that we’ll keep forever.
Jenni’s soft and pretty bouquet recipe: dusty miller, garden roses, lisianthus spray, waxflower, and pastel peach peonies
Jenni and Jeff used their family’s silver and vases for the centerpieces, so every single table had a story behind it. Pretty, pretty rad.
There were so many to choose from, but I’d have to say that the most memorable moment from our wedding was when everyone jumped—fully clothed—into the pool at the end of the night. Led by Jeff, all the guys snuck away to change their suits into board shorts, but kept their dress shirts and ties on. After seeing that, the girls all decided to jump in, still in their bridesmaids dresses! I even jumped in with my wedding dress on. Eventually 90 percent of the guests were in the pool and ended the night in the hot tub. It was incredible.
