Don’t get us wrong—we adore pretty pastels and airy, white wedding décor. But when we saw this shoot that Odalys Mendez, Simply Charming Socials, and Rosegolden Flowers put together, there was something refreshing about the rich and moody fall hues. It’s something you don’t see as often, that’s for sure! Holly from Rosegolden Flowers says, We wanted the photos to feel deeply romantic. Jewel and berry tones have a dramatic, sensual quality that we found very inspiring. Using bold color can be intimidating, so we wanted this shoot to show how they can be combined in an eclectic, graceful, and balanced way.
Velvet pumps are so stylish for a fall wedding, don’t ya think?
The layer of tulle on that Carol Hannah is just too pretty for words.
Kristin from Simply Charming Socials says, From a styling perspective, much of the inspiration for this shoot came from balance in weight, color, and texture. Where we had black candles, we chose some blush florals. With soft, fleshy figs, we added hard walnuts. Delicate glassware is anchored with petrified wood coasters. We chose a bulky wood table and set it with wiry bistro chairs. Every element had an opposite counterpart.
Such a simple yet elegant cake.
This shoot is just perfect for any of you guys who might be planning fall weddings right now. So, pin away!
