Any other tea drinking, Jane Austen loving, Downton Abbey (binge) watchers out there? Thought so. Well Zabeena + Chris’ wedding reminds us of all those things in the best way possible. These two got hitched on a sprawling Victorian estate in the English countryside, with a color palette inspired by a pearl necklace. We’d totally think we were back in 1914 if it weren’t for the delightful modern touches captured by Natalie J. Watts like a biodegradable balloon release.
Zabeena’s bouquet recipe: Amnesia and quicksand roses, peonies, and anemonies.
A confession from the bride… I made the table plan for the reception the night before. A bit of cutting and pasting, and no one was any the wiser!
Zabeena says, We very much wanted the wedding photos to feel candid and natural. So for the group photo, we ordered 40 biodegradable, heart-shaped balloons. We had people write personal messages to loved ones or people that were no longer with us on the balloons, and then we all released them into the sky. It was a special moment and made for a great photo!
And now for some good news… Zabeena + Chris are expecting their second child together, due the first week in April. Congrats you two!
