All we had to see was Jaclyn’s gold sequin wedding dress to know she was a girl after our own hearts. (Jaclyn girl, you look glamorous!) It just goes to show that when you let your wedding be a representation of your own personal style—and not what you think a wedding is supposed to look like—you can’t go wrong. So with Brittany Mahood and her camera in tow, these two focused on creating an intimate, stylish, and romantic evening, with good food and drinks to be enjoyed by all.
Jaclyn’s bridal bouquet was inspired by a jewel tone shoot she spotted on our blog! How do you like that?! The ladies at Academy Florist constructed it using different variations of roses and explosive greenery.

Jaclyn says, Being a wedding planner myself I often found myself wanting to have it all—and thinking I should have it all. In the end we decided to keep the decor simple and let our venue do the talking.
Their love story: Adam and I met ten years ago, when we were just kids. We were elated to find out we were expecting after about six years dating. Shortly after, Adam proposed in the comfort of our home while our then one-year-old daughter was sleeping. He surprised me by offering me the ring of my dreams—actually the ring I had used as an unattainable sample of the style of ring I wanted—and saying the most beautiful words I have ever heard. We then planned our wedding slowly over the next two and a half years.
