Emily + Zach had us at fancy pizza party. Ummm, yeah—that was their wedding theme. How cool is that? As Emily tells it, We wanted to spend time with our friends and family, eat our favorite food, and have a radical dance party. It worked out perfectly. And then there’s the whole slew of graphic DIY details these lovebirds and their pals spent months working on. They made the place card holders, chalkboards, menus, all but one cake stand, doughnut bags, and hand-painted napkins. We’re so glad Les Loups Pictures & Songs caught it all on camera.

Emily says, We decided right away that our real money would be spent on food and photographs. I still think we made the right choice! These photos are forever and we already feel that we’ve gotten our money’s worth! Not only are our pictures wonderful, but I had a lot of “performance anxiety” about them because I don’t really fancy myself a photogenic person. Ro and Kenan made the whole experience FUN and really put me at ease.
A favorite memory… During dinner, I remember just surveying the scene and seeing our two moms (who LOVE each other and were seated next to each other) with their heads together pointing at us and whispering. It just felt so good to see the two of them together, becoming a family. I can’t think of anything luckier than in-laws who adore each other. It was a never-ending series of amazing moments—that perfect day.
