You may already know this from the above photo, but after seeing this spread, you’ll so want to cancel your weekend plans and recreate this late summer scene in your own backyard (oh, how we wish all backyards looked like this!) instead. Athena Calderone, designer + blogger at Eye Swoon, hosted this bohemian backyard soiree at her Amagansett home and it kinda illustrates everything we’re hanging onto about summer: expertly planned yet casual hangouts, warm summer nights with friends (poolside, of course), and a major emphasis on food. We’re just happy Winnie Au caught it all on camera for us to swoon over too!
Chef Jeff Schwarz (see his column for T Magazine) brought Athena’s menu dreams to life with seasonal veggies, herbs, surf and turf kebabs, and some drool-worthy sweets, like Cointreau-glazed peaches and ice cream.

Athena partnered with Cointreau on the party, and paid homage to the liqueur brand with sophisticated but rustic details like the vintage bottles that ran the length of this gooorgeous custom table.
