With a theme like “You Make Life Sweeter”, you can probably guess today’s DTLA wedding contains a few lovely surprises. Boram + Kenneth both have a major sweet tooth and wanted their guests to celebrate all of their favorite things with them, which quickly led to a day full of sweets, glitter, and lots of love. And did we mention sweets? See it all these photos by Mary of Floataway Studios:
Pretty ring, pretty mani. That accent nail!
One of the bride’s fave moments was exchanging cards with Kenneth during the first look.
A darling bouquet recipe: White anemone, peach Juliet garden roses, Campanella garden roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus
Boram says, Cafe Pinot is located in downtown LA, surrounded by skyscrapers and right next to the Los Angeles Public Library. We loved that it offered a beautiful garden for the ceremony and then could transform into a different setting at night with the lights of all the buildings nearby.
They created a huge wall of candy covered with individual packages AKA guest escort cards.
Catherine of CCL Weddings & Events is a DIY whiz. She whipped up this sign, the sequin cocktail flags, aisle hearts, chair backs, and more.
A few words from Boram on the planning process…
My biggest hurdle was probably my own indecisiveness, especially in the beginning. Making each decision felt like such a big deal since I worried how it would affect the outcome on such an important day. It really helped that my husband was involved in the whole process and to have such an amazing wedding planner who knew how to guide us through it all.
Cheers!
