For Lizzie + Caleb, it was all about timing. For years they were near each other without knowing. With a number of close mutual friends, they almost met countless times. Once, two years before they met, Lizzie even attended a wedding he filmed—she was in his video. And they’ve been in the same cities at the same time for work, barely missing each other. When they finally met while with friends at the farmers market, the connection was instant. Exactly one year later, they’re getting married the same weekend they met. Cue happy tears!

Lizzie says, As a wedding photographer myself, it’s so surreal to be on this side of the camera. For years of photographing other couple’s stories, I always wondered what it’d be like, who I’d be with and what we would do… What would be our thing? As time has passed over the years, I’ve learned to cherish simplicity in photographs. So when we were picking our engagement session, my biggest priorities were that we’d have pretty light, a soft background, and each other—simple.
Can we talk about this bouquet?! Lizzies friend Crystal of Heirloom Design House created a market-inspired arrangement as a nod to when they first connected at the farmers market.
Sweet parting words, c/o our bride-to-be:
It’s still true that when you know, you know! I feel so overwhelmed and blessed to be called Caleb’s wife. There’s no one I’d rather fight with. And make up with. And watch The Office reruns on the couch with. And be adventurous with. And be boring with. He is the most patient person I’ve ever known, and although no person is perfect and lasting relationships take hard work, there’s no one I’d fight harder for.
Congratulations you two!
