(A gold bar cart and a pastry tower? Uh, yes x a million.) Valentine’s Day may be over but we’d never turn down a party filled to the brim with inspired décor and a little bit of romance. The celebrations of this past weekend were really just a teeny hint at an upcoming season of cheerful, springy vibes and color palettes to match. When we saw this party Peyton Frank of Grit + Gold whipped up, we knew these guys were on the same page.
Big thanks to Ben Q Photography for these snaps:
Peyton + the team took the flirty, fun essence of Valentine’s Day—the florals, balloons, and colors—and focused on transforming them into a practical and stylish event for any celebration.
A few styling tips from Peyton:
When styling a bar cart, it is important to keep it clean and simple while still achieving an interesting composition by utilizing various depths and heights. This cart is styled with sweet treats, an artful print, and a yummy cocktail. The playful yet elegant pastry tower is adorned with delicate blooms while a gold “love drunk” print in a sleek white frame compliments the specialty vodka-lemonade drink.
Feel free to roll that on over to the 100lc studio! Kidding…
These luscious blooms are quite a bit different than the ones we swooned over in the fall… Ginger Roots Floral Design sure knows how to work with the season.
Thanks to Ben Q Photography + everyone below for all the cheery, happy goodness!
