Admittedly we’ve yet to meet a Max Wanger wedding we didn’t like, but this one has such amazing personality to go along with the always beautiful photography. And Ashley is a real sweetheart, which makes posting her wedding all the better.
Ashley and Sean‘s wedding is such a perfect mix of pretty details and modern style. They’re super creative peeps, and had a ball building, crafting, stitching, baking, painting, photographing, and planning. And they’re a pretty couple too, aren’t they. Ashley’s look is freakin’ adorable! With her short dress and pearls and aqua heels? She used an embroidery hoop (with her own embroidery) as a ring “pillow”. Aren’t their rings great? Melissa Joy Manning.
Those photobooth garland is a Purl Bee project. They cut over 1,000 circles to make enough garland for their whole wedding. And they made 150 of those cute crepe paper flags for their guests to wave. It’s nearly unbearable, the cuteness of it all.
Ashley collected vintage sheets from etsy and made all of the napkins herself. Such a great idea for interesting fabric!
For favors, they gave both homemade Apple Schnapps brought from Austria (Ashley’s dad is Austrian) and homemade apple pies in the jar, made by Ashley and her mom the Thursday before the wedding. Pretty amazing.
And as if you needed to hear one more thoughtful detail, Ashley sang Sea of Love on her autoharp to Sean as a surprise. Awwww.
Thank you sooooo much for sharing your super cute wedding with us, you two! It really was a perfect LA party. And you definitely outdid yourselves in the craft dept. Which we’re never sad to see.
