Morning guys! You’ll flip when you see all the geometric goodness in this mid-century modern inspiration shoot that Smitten Events sent our way. Their inspiration began with a mustard, geometric printed fabric and bloomed into a turquoise, gold, and silver wedding theme with clean lines and an essentially endless amount of spring blossoms.
Thanks to Kirill Bordon Photography for the photos.
The getaway car? A magenta 1963 Buick named Pink Betsy decked out with a tin can garland.
Garden Party Flowers nailed it with the flowers for sure.Florals in tangerine, gold, green and cream added another dimension to the tablescape and décor. Spring daffodils, hyacinth and tulips were tucked among ranunculus, poppies, roses and succulents which gave the arrangements a fresh, organic look, perfectly suited to the season.
The gals at Smitten Events explain, We complimented the mustard color with magenta and turquoise, and mixed in gold and silver. Continuing with the geometric theme, we used square dinnerware and angular cutlery, octagonal napkin rings with triangle-shaped place cards, and made triangular sculptures in bright colors to add pop to the natural wood harvest table. Even the Bertoia-style dining chairs, a mid-century staple, fit the geo-theme with their diamond pattern.
Ahhh! This cake is a stunner, and so are all the desserts by The Cake and the Giraffe:
