Contemplating sequins for your big day? (Honestly why not?) This little sequin number from Sarah Seven needs to be on your list. Rachael of Lace & Likes wanted to give this beautifully ethereal look (which Sarah Seven always, always embodies right?) a little edge. One particular shade of green helped ‘em pull it off… The always intriguing emerald. Here’s how, via photos by the talented Joielala…

Rachael of Lace & Likes explains, The idea was to juxtapose a very feminine, ethereal look in an edgy space (thanks to Luce Loft). My tattoos also helped to round out the soft look with a bit of toughness. I’m a big fan of tattooed brides (although it was not in the original plan that I’d be the one modeling in this shoot). The hairstyle from 10.11 Makeup was one of my favorite elements to this palette—such a fun look to try for your wedding day as opposed to the more traditional updo.
Add in another lovely gown from The Dress Theory‘s latest lookbook…
