A few lessons from today’s Tuscan wedding inspiration: 1) Italy can, in fact, be brought to California, 2) Food can be as pretty as flowers, and 3) Little cakes can be as impressive as big cakes. (Though you may already know that last one if you’ve seen our wedding cake gallery.) Tres Chic Affairs + Third Bloom + a whole slew of talents made each of those happen + more over at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa in Vista.
Thanks to Shane & Lauren Photography for sharing all the deets, big and small.
Remember when this Watters wedding dress popped up in another shoot on the blog? Obviously very versatile.
Feeling rather inspired by this color palette right here.
Molly of Tres Chic Affairs says, The best part of the day was during the ceremony within the chapel filled with candles when the late afternoon sun was shining right through the stained glass window and onto the bride and groom, giving them the most heavenly glow as they said I Do. So breathtaking.
An Italian inspired wedding is never complete without food as incredible as the flowers. Cal-a-Vie’s Curtis Cooke prepared a Crostini bar and Limoncello Thyme & Tuscan Pear cocktails. We’ll assume the whole spread was appropriately devoured!
For the tablescape we wanted everything to feel rich but organic. The plant-dyed table runner and arrangements filled with fresh fruit, berries and herbs perfectly complemented the antique brass and vintage glassware, and The wood burned menus with distressed gold leaf detailing were inspired by many of the weathered stone walls that are found within the streets of old Italian towns. We created an intimate and lush sweetheart table with a special treat for the bride and groom, a fresh berry pizzette, as a perfect start to a rustic feast. As if the gorgeous Italian marble inspired cake wasn’t enough…
Honestly, we could not fit all this beauty on one page, so here ya go…
We’re kinda still in awe. Thanks to the folks below for the heaps of inspo.
