When Carol Ly sent these photos she snapped at Kurt Boomer’s Sunstone Villa workshop our way, she told us to imagine ourselves at a winery at the end of summer, where the weather is crisp but sunny, and the day is full of light. Fancying ourselves at Sunstone IS easy as pie for us, but we sure couldn’t have imagined just how dreamily Joy Proctor‘s styling + Amy Osaba’s bouquets + everything else from this day would come together. There are too many lovely details, each one more perfect for the last.
The florals and the fashion… What did we say?!
Carol says, Our theme was very much inspired by fine art elements, such as oil painting and classical instruments. It has an 18th century feel to it as you might be able to tell from the vintage gowns and the handwritten gold calligraphy. It is also a great inspiration for brides who are looking to have their wedding at the impeccably gorgeous winery here in Santa Ynez, Southern California, among olive groves and rows of grapevines.
This Gossamer gown and this bridal hairstyle by Jess Wilcox is serious magic.

We kept the palette of colors soft, with light pinks, pale blues, and gold motifs. Amy Osaba‘s florals were just extraordinary, as though they came straight out of an old Dutch painting. Brides would be so lucky to have any of these vendors for their wedding!
Agree x a million! Thanks to Carolly Photography, who captured the light so effortlessly, and everyone else below for inspiring us today…
