Wasn’t this morning’s fuchsia + gold wedding fantastic? The bride and groom had the best stories. If it summed up everything we love about gold, this editorial by Mason & Megan sums up everything we love about fall. Bold colors, large swaths of afternoon light streaming through bright botanicals, delectable desserts… Gorgeous puts it lightly. Ali of Sixpence styled and designed this whole autumn wine country wedding scene with the richest, freshest details.
These blooms. Fluid Bloom sure knows how to whip up a fall bouquet.
Ali says, As we make our way into the fall season, I wanted to pull in a color palette that was filled with rich and bold compliments, including a pomegranate red, dusty blue, French dijon, tinted hazelnut, and fig. Using materials and furniture that had ornate details and intricate designs, I created a look that was romantic and sophisticated, but adorned them with organic and natural elements to enhance the beauty of the surrounding wine country.
Sixpence + the team combined velvet, ornate gold, and antiqued wood to blend textures. It’s kind of impossible not to be inspired by the central coast, isn’t it?
