Did you take a peek at this morning’s whimsical desert wedding inspiration? Do we have some gorgeous floral eye candy for ya today or what? The bouquet above would be the genius of Lisa’s Flor Decor, who designed the floral and décor to be overflowing with warmth and giving and abundance. Thanks to Sarah Tamagni for showing off every inch of this fall floral goodness in the photos!
Lisa explains, My inspiration was the thought of a wedding celebration FULL of both thanks and giving! An abundance of vintage treasures collected over generations. The beautiful live pheasant along with the handmade brooch necklace provided a feeling of gratitude and plenty. The warm glow of the fall season of the Sutter Buttes was the perfect setting for this unique combination of tame and wild.
I wanted deep rich tones of red and lavender to adorn the well-worn Victorian chair, glided by moss and flowers beside a grand golden birdcage. The bride is wearing a unique statement necklace handmade from antique brooches, golden chains and gems.
The floral arrangements featured dahlias, garden roses, feathers, and fruits were displayed on a Moroccan vintage brass pillar that she surrounded with carnival glass plates + leather bound books.
Gasp. Are we finally out of words?! Almost…
Lisa’s talented friend Jodie Burr handmade this ethereal gown. So perfect, right?
