Generally when you think of beach weddings, you think bright ‘n sunny, right? Well, when you have a private beach on the shores of Lake Ontario in Canada, the scene might be a little different, in the absolute best way. On the day Michael of Ballad Photography + team set out to photograph their seaside wedding inspiration, thick fog rolled in and added a moody air to the whole scene. You can’t plan this stuff, ya know?
Myrica of Roses + Twine combined lots of creams + greenery for the bouquets. She also styled the vignette along with Tufts and Toile. Well done!
Just a few take-your-breath-away details on this Catherine Langlois gown…
Playing off the natural landscape, we opted for dusty blue tones, along with navy, cream, and metallic accents… The entire team managed to embrace the rugged beauty and raw elements that we had placed ourselves in, using the natural scenery as our guidebook. From the sunshine rays that casted a golden light, down to the water droplets left behind on the stemware, the tiniest of details became exquisite and added to the entire look and feel for this styled shoot.
