Isn’t it funny how inspiration translates to the finished product sometimes? Example: Photog Emily of The Ganeys was first inspired by a brunch wedding, but the concept shifted from that initial idea to a citrus-themed affair full of cheerful touches and Florida oranges. Becky of Tufted Vintage Rentals then designed + styled the scene, though not without a teeny bit of that original brunch idea peeking through.
Emily says, Jesse and Vanessa were filled with laughter and smiles all day as they lived out this Florida wedding. Their energy was contagious! Indira Ramotar styled Vanessa’s hair and makeup flawlessly, finishing her braid with an intricate beaded floral piece from RomanticARTLife, and she wore a simple and elegant, sweetheart gown from The Dressing Room in St. Pete with a crystal and silk belt from Justin Alexander tied around her waist.
It was only fitting that they celebrate with their closest friends over a meal at a farm table. Accenting orange chairs sat alongside wooden antiques. Milk glass held the flowers and citrus spilled across the table as a runner. The guests’ place cards were held by a tangerine. They all enjoyed their favors of handmade biscuits wrapped in citrus netting and sticky marmalade.
The aforementioned brunch nook… Complete with pastry sweets and handpainted donuts from Oob A La Mode. And check out the citrus cake…
Amazing!
