Happy Tuesday, Cakies! Blame it on summer, but we’re totally on an entertaining kick lately. This farmhouse wedding editorial Maranda Elysse Photography sent our way has tons of little details you could easily translate to other special events. But of course, all you engaged readers are sure to be inspired…
Maddie Mae Creative dreamt up the lovely invitation suite that went right along with the purple + green color palette.Isn’t the idea of a cascading bouquet so romantic and unique?
They chose the Rainbow Valley Wedding Barn in Ontario for the venue, since it’s full of antique charm: Its rural enchantment and neutral palette gave us a blank canvas for a summer design. Bold purples, pinks and reds among other colours and texture were layered to create a wonderful complex balance.
Florals by Art in Bloem were delicate and ethereal. Dainty clematis dance above the tablescape creating playful movement and cascade softly through the waterfall bouquet. The lush garland, draping over the mantle ruins, filled the air with fragrance of bay leaves and eucalyptus.
Okay, the desserts? Baking Up Treble was behind these adorable cakes, the wedding cake below, and other desserts you can drool over in our gallery at the end of this post…
