If you saw our Insta Stories last month, you got a sneak peek at our most recent spring shoot with Crate and Barrel, in which we compiled all our dreamiest spring entertaining ideas into this mega dose of bridal shower inspiration you’re about to see below. (Have we mentioned we love our jobs?!) But we like to think an event this pretty isn’t just reserved for pre-wedding festivities, as special as they are. By adding a few quality entertaining pieces to your Gift Registry, you’re all set to gather your pals for beautiful parties whenever the occasion fits. AKA, as often as possible…
Now, for a closer peek at these florals, sweets, and Registry picks:
There’s just something so cheerful about a springtime bridal shower, isn’t there? Though we’re certain quite a bit of you would be totally down to throw a soft, blush-inspired party any time of year. The Marin Grey Dinner Plate (which comes in bevy of hues) and the gorgeous Jasper Flatware, for example, can be dressed up differently depending on the season. Always love a unique, yet perfectly versatile tabletop!
Kinda amazing how something as seemingly simple as a placemat can elevate your whole tablescape. But if you’ve adorned any sort of table for entertaining before, you know what we mean. The Hyacinth Round Placemat is one to add to the Registry for a spring brunch or party, and totally has that breezy, beachy vibe down when summer comes.
The florals may have been our main pop of color here, but teeny tiny touches like the aqua tint of the Lagos Glass made it all the more springy.
You guys remember when Stella Bloom Designs blew everyone away at our last Crate and Barrel event, right? Naturally we had to see her take on this blush bridal shower design.
Wine glasses are pretty standard for any wedding-related Gift Registry, because who doesn’t want a good set? Not to mention, everyone’s got a few friends that would be thrilled to join the quest for presentation-worthy barware, too. The Crescent Wine Glass is a little unexpected… Perfect for celebratory rosé or serving up either red and white wine to guests.
Oh, and this picnic basket? So, SO cute. It would be so good as a spring bridal shower gift. Also, side note, we definitely advise surrounding the bride-to-be in fresh florals for any gift opening that takes place. Gotta be ready for those photos.
With the tablescape being such a main event in a bridal shower, it’s easy to overlook some of the bigger surrounding pieces that actually tie it all together, like the chairs and rug. Grey and blush is always a fave of ours for modern, feminine parties, so we gravitated toward the Vienna Dove Wood Dining Chair and Blush Rug so that everything would flow seamlessly throughout. We always suggest adding a variety of price ranges to your Registry—it gives everyone the option to contribute exactly how they’d like (and how you like), including going in on group gifts.
Once you take a peek at all the entertaining essentials we used in this shoot, head on over to Crate and Barrel’s blog for the necessary other half of this celebration—the dessert table! It’s just as decadent as the cake above, promise.
