Pastel, watercolors, sweets, and pink… Can you think of anything more lovely for a spring or summer bridal shower? Maybe all that with a few tasty cocktails and lots of photos, per these bright and sunny snaps by Adrienne Gunde Photography.
Pretty setup!
Ngoc of Skybox Event Productions tells it, The shoot was focused around some of my favorite things to do during this season—indulging in a decadent dessert, sipping a refreshing cocktail, and most of all, enjoying it with some of my favorite girlfriends. To create a whimsical table setting befitting a bridal shower, a garden tea party, or a special birthday, I focused on flowers, desserts, cocktails, and table décor that tied in well with my theme. I also added a few personal touches for this shoot, which included hand dying the table runner and painting the ribbons used on the wine bottles.
I wanted to incorporate the watercolor theme to the table without it looking like an art class. The hand dyed table runner was used in a more unconventional way to create additional texture for the table. The colorful plates added a fun and playful element to the table décor. The chiffon backdrop created a light and airy ambiance that reminded me of a beautiful summer sky.
Watercolor desserts, yes please! The Paper Lab whipped up the pretty signs to go along with the dessert + drinks.
The gals all wore their own pastel hued ensembles + nude shoes to pop against the white space. More details below!
So many great ideas here, thanks everyone!
