Today we’ve got the loveliest lake-front Georgia wedding (on 10.10.10!) to share with you. The photos are so exquisite and do a fab job at capturing the lovely rustic and refreshing vibe of Emily & Mark’s very DIY (and very gorgeous) celebration. It’s all-around beautiful, with stone cabins, boat docks, succulent centerpieces, and plenty of turquoise bits to boot.
Just look at this SUPER gorgeous brooch bouquet, made by the bride & groom’s mother. How pretty is it, especially with the turquoise ribbon wrap? The brooches were collected from all kinds of places – antique shops, the trusty old internet, and even has some family heirlooms pinned to the stem.
Emily + Mark found the perfect woodsy location – the rustic cabin, the docks, the sunlight streaming in from the tree tops… just so peaceful and charming!
Love this photo of Emily & Mark in the boat. Too cute!
Emily made the burlap and ribbon table runners herself, along with planting those amazing succulent centerpieces, and embossing and handwriting the place cards. So simple and tasteful!
A jeweled cake with cotton birdie cake toppers is almost too pretty to eat!
Really fabulous job, Emily & Mark – we love. Congrats!
