With it’s woodsy charm, picturesque mountain backdrop and lakeside views, Bethany + Derek’s wedding has us wanting to catch a little R & R in Georgia asap. In addition to all the historic details at Kingston Stables, Bethany went all out on the DIY elements. In fact, her “Pinterest tornado” ripped through their dining room table & office for the entire year of their engagement, turning it into wedding central mayhem. Their wedding is chock full of personal touches, a fantastic Craigslist find, loads of pretty florals, and ends with sweet midnight boat ride for two.
Great bridesmaid bouquet idea: use all the same flowers, but accent each one with a different one! These perfect for summer bouquets include peach david austin roses, succulents, queen anne’s lace, billy balls, scabiosa pods, aster novi, ranunculas, lavender, lambs ear, and sweet pea.
Check out this Craigslist find! It was from a 1930’s home that was being restored. Turned out to be the perfect frame for their ceremony.
Love these gold table numbers? Bethany is selling them in our Marketplace!
Their first dance was to Otis Redding’s That’s How Strong My Love Is.
Sparklers are the cutest and so much fun for guests to wave around as they send you off… to a night boat ride with your hunny…
As far as send offs go, rowing off in a vintage boat at the end of the night with a bottle of bubbly in hand, sparkly night sky…. now that’s dreamy. Congrats Bethany + Derek!
