You know how emerald is this year’s color of the year? Yeah well, you’re about to get a pretty little pop of it in Anne + Jim’s wedding. Anne is the Creative Project Manager at Williams-Sonoma & Jim designs and builds museum installations, so the decor (and food) was definitely important to them. Plus, with Sonoma being the perfect getaway from the foggy city where you can be surrounded by gourmet food, wine and such pretty views, why not have your friends & fam meet you there to celebrate?
One of Anne’s bridesmaids designed these beautiful wedding invitations that set the tone for their theme and incorporated the oak tree and rustic shed that were on the private estate.
The color palette included pale pink and Anne’s favorite flower, the peony so naturally her bridal bouquet was made of all blush peonies with pale pink sweet peas as accent flowers. To add a special touch to the bouquet, her florist wrapped pale pink ribbon around the stems and pinned her vintage Chanel “CC” earrings to the ribbon for her “something old”.
Cherries Flowers created elegant arrangements of blush peonies, pale pink and cream garden roses, green hydrangeas and viburnum in antique silver vases.
Jim’s mom, who is a wonderful baker made their wedding favors: homemade mini blueberry pies with heart cut-outs baked inside canning jars.
Congratulations Anne + Jim!
