We’d all love to have a wedding modeled after one of our favorite stores, no? We’re sure one of those stores, for most of you (us included), would be Anthropologie, right? Well, Johanna’s wedding was heavily influenced by just that lovely store. With food stations serving southern comfort food from her youth, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and candle lit mason jars, she wanted to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A brooch bouquet, chalkboards with poetry, and a table of family wedding photos through the generations, were a few of the details that made the evening truly unique. And the photos by Jeremy Harwell made it all the more beautiful.
Always a fan of the brooch bridal bouquet, especially knowing that she used brooches from her mother and grandmother.
That veil… wow!
They both walked down the aisle to “Concerning Hobbits,” by Howard Shore (The Lord Of The Rings), and their first dance was to “Crazy Girl” by The Eli Young Band.
How the lovebirds met…
They met in an audition on the tenth floor of a high-rise in Beverly Hills, CA. On the way to their cars, there was no way Josh was going to let her simply walk out of his life. So after asking Johanna if she had plans that night and getting simple “yes”, Josh left the future with this beautiful girl up to serendipity. As fate would have it, they both got the job. Josh was sure after only a few days that this was something special, while Johanna took a little more convincing. But by the end of the shoot, the chemistry was definitely more than just on screen. They quickly started dating and became inseparable. Six short months later, Josh bought a ring and Johanna said yes!
Did you recognize these two lovebirds from the big screen? Johanna can be seen in projects such as: Paranormal activity 3, Easy A, Southland, Greek, Criminal minds, CSI and more. Along with the Netflix series “Video Game High School” ( where she first met Josh), and Josh can be seen in projects such as: No Country For Old Men, Bones, The Bernie Mac Show, Video Game High School, and an upcoming recurring role on Wearhouse 13.
Congratulations you two!
