It’s Monday and you all know what that means… We’re ready to get right back in the swing of things with another sweet soiree! We think you’ll agree that Samantha + Chris’ rustic vineyard wedding is nothing short of dreamy. This cute couple tied the knot in New Zealand, but the colors and theme of the day were inspired by a romantic Parisian autumn. Think pretty leaves falling from the trees, Miss Dior perfume, pastel pink hues, and French music that played throughout the reception. Très romantique, oui? Enjoy Andrea Seymour’s stunning photographs and little bits from the bride sprinkled in between.
How pretty are these Badgley Mischka Peep Toe Platform?
Samantha says, The venue at the vineyard was just stunning—from the white brick walls covered in ivy, to the vintage garden with trees full of autumn leaves.
We were married outside under a rustic archway, where I had my own chandelier hung in the middle. There were white doves in the trees above and pretty horses frolicking in the paddock behind us.
Our son Sebastian was very excited leading up to the big day, practicing walking down the isle and helping Mummy and Daddy choreograph the first dance! On the day he definitely stole the show, wearing his grey suit, black bow tie, and black wayfarers to match the groom. He was far too cute!
We had a white vintage dresser with two drink dispensers filled with fruit punch for guests to enjoy. We wanted to make sure our guests had just as much fun as we did on our fairytale day!
For our table numbers we made wooden flower boxes out of old beer crates and they sat in the middle of each of the long tables and overflowed with wild flowers. The flowers all came out of our Aunty Meme’s beautiful country garden.
While we were out in the fields chasing the light and dancing in the sunset for our photos, our lovely guests were entertained by live acoustic music, served delicious canapés, and enjoyed some fun with our photobooth. We set up our guest book beside the photobooth so our guests could put one photo strip in the book and write us a little message.
Our day was truly magical, filled with so much love, laughter, stunning views, and amazing friends. I love watching the gorgeous video and reliving the day all over again and again.
Advice I have for brides would be to plan all the little details well in advance so you have time to have some fun and enjoy every moment of the day with your friends and family. Make sure you laugh lots and remember to thank all those special people who helped make the day so amazing!
