Maybe it’s the mini apple pie jars, the cowboy boots, coffee bar complete with campfire marshmallows & syrups, or all the reclaimed wood details, but there’s something very homey about Breanna + Caleb’s wedding. Every little detail from their wedding had a fun and personal touch. Like their table names, themed after different parts of their love story, the display case with curios from Caleb’s parents’ wedding, and the mint furnished,”Treat Yo Self” dessert corner. You really get a sense of who they are, and really, that’s all they wanted to accomplish. Thank you to Kristen Booth for sharing this beauty with us!
A little lady in cowboy boots! Dying.
The strips of fabric bunting for behind the head table said, “Sittin Priddy”, a play on their last name which is Priddy.
I found someone on craigslist giving away old fence wood so I went and got as many as I could to use to name the tables. I printed photos of us to go with the theme of the table and then used other thrifted or vintage items to add some fun. EX: On the “first kiss” table I sprinkled chocolate kisses, on the “4th of July” table or the “first spark” I used party poppers, “texas” tables had a little bear (seen in our save the date video), “proposal” table had the sparklers from the night he proposed to me.
I bought a hutch ($60) and a dinning table ($15) from craigslist and my mom had the old desk. I only used 1 gallon of mint paint, got all of my bridesmaids together and painted all of it to match. I spent a total of about $125 on everything to make those and they were an awesome statement. I also made cake stands for thrifted plates and cups. I then made the bunting that said “treat yo self” out of gold glitter scrapbook paper.
A few words of advice from Breanna… Start Early! Getting all big decisions made early was the best things I could have done. I gave me plenty of time to get all the DIY stuff I wanted done. Also pick good bridesmaids and people to help you. I had an amazing support system! My friends went above and beyond to help my cause I did the same for them and will do again in the future. I could not have done half the things I did without all of my friends and family.
Congratulations you two!
