We tend to spend a majority of our time swooning and blogging about a bride’s dress, hair, and makeup. With all good reason, of course! We’ve all been brides, and it’s so easy to get caught up in all the girly stuff. But, we also know that a dapper groom is just as important as a bride. The hair, the shoes, cut of the suit, even the facial hair. These are all things our other halves thought about as wedding day approached, so we’re going to dedicate the morning to some dashing styles for the men, thanks to D’Arcy Benincosa.
This look: shirt, gray wool pants, and suspenders are from H&M, belt is from Penguin, and the watch is from Sinn.
To add a little more personality, never underestimate the power of layers. Shirts, sweaters, jackets in hues of brown can all be together, especially for a winter wedding. A pocket square from Nordstrom can accent the tie (but they don’t have to be the same pattern!). The blue plaid bow tie in this look gives the groom a pop of color that stands out more than a traditional black bow tie.
This look: Tweed jacket was a Paris vintage find, pocket square is J.Z Richards, bow tie is from The Tie Bar, and pants, brown sweater and shirt are H&M.
Simple, clean cut lines, along with an organic and simple boutonniere will give that timeless, romantic look that the groom can wear on his wedding day and beyond.
This look: Gray suit is from Zara, leather shoes are Magnanni, and watch is Rolex.
Looking good, no?
