If the gorgeous, handcrafted jewelry in this morning’s post didn’t grab your attention, it will when you see it worn by today’s lovely bride and designer, Misa Hamamoto. Go ahead and sneak a peek at the amazing sale she’s got happening in our 100 Layer Cake Pop-Up Shop, then come right back here for her city-chic Grand Park wedding. It’s elegant, timeless, and really shows how romantic Los Angeles can be as the backdrop to a wedding. Obviously, the beautiful photos from Jacqueline Campbell of Birds of a Feather play a huge part, yes?
The Angels Flight Railway is one of Los Angeles’s landmark gems. If you’re every around Downtown LA, take it for a spin.

Don’t you always have major ring envy from all the brides on the blog? Well… this time you can buy what you see. No, really. Misa’s jewelry company, Misa Jewelry is selling these and then some in our Pop-Up Shop!
As for the ceremony venue, we couldn’t come up with one that screamed “us” until one day when we were, funny enough, brainstorming venue ideas on our picnic blanket at Grand Park, we kept saying, “a venue like Grand Park would be so nice” and “something fun, outdoorsy and city-chic like Grand Park.” …It took us a few more obvious comments like these until we finally realized Grand Park is this exact place we’ve been looking for. It combines the Old LA feel with the majestic City Hall surrounding it and New LA with the stunning Walt Disney Concert Hall, water fountains of the Music Center, and hot pink chairs. Before we committed to the venue, I made sure we could use those hot pink chairs!
MMmm.. you know we love us some gold details!
Big tip from Misa: Future brides and grooms, I strongly advise NOT making your own flower arrangements no matter how much you love arts & crafts like I do. There are incredible florists and wedding planners FOR. A. REASON. Stressing about how you may be late to your own rehearsal dinner because you’re still making your own flower arrangements should never happen to anyone. Anyone. I finally had to relieve some responsibilities and hired a florist from downtown to make and deliver the flower arrangements for just the ceremony.
They really are such a handsome pair, aren’t they? Best wishes to them both! Don’t forget to stop by the Pop-Up Shop and take advantage of Misa Jewelry’s fab sale!
