We’ve gotta warn you guys; seeing Jacy and John David’s intimate Malibu wedding might make you reconsider whatever big plans you had going for you’re own soiree. We all know how wedding planning can get, and The Why We Love makes a sweet and simple elopement look pretty, pretty tempting. Especially when there’s an epic view of the Pacific Ocean involved. The whole thing feels exotic, secluded, intimate, and peaceful.
Jacy’s kimono is vintage. What a find!
Jacy says, The feather and the antlers in our ceremony represent myself and Jon David, respectively. Jon David calls me “Birdie,” and I call him “Buck,” which is where we got the name for our band, The Buck and the Bird.
I’m a luxury travel advisor, so it was a delightful challenge to find the perfect venue. I discovered the most incredible private home on 40 acres, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I was so drawn to the home’s unique, eco-friendly, Moroccan style; vibrant with color and texture. It sits on top of a ridge in the very western portion of Malibu with absolutely incredible, unobstructed views of the ocean, mountains, and canyons. You feel like you’re on the edge of the world!
That light is pure magic.
Congrats J + J!
