Lauren + Ben’s wedding had all the elements of an outdoor wedding without actually being outside. (We promise it’ll make sense, once you see the rest of Apryl Ann‘s photos and expansive views from the floor-to-ceiling windows!) Inspired by their venue, the Trinity River Audubon Center, these lovebirds planned their theme around the incredible location. Fun fact: After the kiss, a white egret took flight behind them—no need to release doves here!
Lauren was over the moon for her florals by Bows & Arrows… Stunning!
Balloons and tassels and confetti, oh my!
The forecast showed thunderstorms, so they moved their ceremony inside to this gorg light-filled space at the last minute. It didn’t actually start pouring until after, but it all worked out. Lauren says, It turned out to be beautiful and the sun was pouring through the windows. It really couldn’t have been any better.
On the venue: When we visited the Audubon Center, we knew we found our place. The building itself is stunning, the architecture is moving, and the grounds are beautiful. It is remote, quiet, and peaceful. And a unique Dallas gem. We looked no further.
An ice cream bar instead of cake? So fitting for this fun couple!
The bride’s favorite moment? The whole damn thing.
Congrats, you two!
