A crisp white wedding gown, lace bridesmaid dresses, and this clean white altar = one elegant way to ensure that the colorful wildflowers abound in this Australia wedding would really pop. And boy did they pop! You’ll probably want to run to the market for flowers of your own after checking out Marcus + Steph’s vibrant wedding below. They really are that good.
Thanks to Jerome Cole Photography for sending this one our way!
Now that’s how you do florals, if you ask us. Amazing work, Prunella!
Photog Jerome explains the bridal look: Steph looked stunning; her gown had a sleek, simple silhouette, yet was intricately detailed with white-on-white textural patterns. Her elaborate headpiece was the perfect accompaniment and became a feature of her outfit, in an elegant and understated manner. Steph handcrafted it from her mother’s wedding veil, skillfully combining her contemporary look with a meaningful, vintage touch.
Playful, quirky, & handmade details could be found all over the ceremony + reception, from revamped chairs via eBay to a wheelbarrow for drinks, to these fun signs placed throughout the venue.
There’s something so surprising and beautiful about these flowers set against a decadent chocolate backdrop.
A few words from the bride, on documenting the big day… We had a photographer, videographer and photobooth. Sounds like a lot but we have captured so many aspects of the day that Marcus and I would never have seen, and will have these forever.
Congrats Stephanie + Marcus!
