They had a Scandinavian theme in mind when they discovered this rustic venue in the Scottish countryside… AKA the ultimate backdrop for a festive, welcoming event like a winter wedding…
They used a monochrome color palette with pops of copper for warmth, then layered wool and wrapped twig place settings for texture + depth. All of the details contrasted with the clean lines with the The Byre at Inchyra’s rustic surroundings.
Lisa of Floral Menagerie says, Although generally viewed as the supporting cast in a floral arrangement, foliage can be used to create all kinds of texture and drama and that’s why I love it. The vision featured lots of beautiful contrasts and I wanted the florals to add to the softness and for the suspended wreaths of flowing winter foliage to bring a warmth to the table.
Okay guys, ready for something seriously sweet?
From Lemonbox Studios: The concept for our hot chocolate bar was to give guests a warming welcome drink, complete with a rum kick to warm them up on a frosty wedding day. The vintage spoons were filled with chocolate for melting into warm milk by the cake geniuses that are bakery47, who also provided a whole host of delicious sweet delights including cinnamon curls, delicate macarons, rochers and amaretti to fill the table.
Those chocolate spoons… Genius is right!
