Think coastal California vibes. Modern touches. Sunset Magazine meets Dwell, if you will. All bits that Megan of Enjoy Events Co. tells us went into this intimate wedding design at the historic 100-year-old Brock Schreiber Boathouse in Inverness, CA. Megan says, I was with Sheryl + Jordan during their entire wedding process and we collaborated in planning their celebration. It didn’t hurt that they had amazing style and wanted something a bit more different than your typical wedding! Megan also recommended Abi Q Photography to document the day, and her style naturally fit with the warm, intimate space they created.
Adorable.
Since it was their second marriage, they wanted it to be more about celebrating with family and experiencing Inverness’ natural beauty. Sheryl walked down the aisle to Such Great Heights by Iron and Wine and Jordan and his sons walked out to Three Rounds and a Sound by Blind Pilot.
Okay, love love love the unexpected texture here.
Megan says, They wanted to treat their guests to a true Point Reyes experience and did so with a fresh oyster bar, Cowgirl Creamery cheese, and not to mention a whiskey bar. The ghost chairs paired with the farm tables created the perfect juxtaposition along with Edison bulbs displayed overhead for lighting.
Shotgun Floral Studio dreamed up these centerpieces of tillandsia, grass, ferns, and flowers. And aren’t the ghost chairs throughout another unexpectedly fitting choice for a modern coastal feel? We say yes!Congratulations to Sharon + Jordan!
