We love the idea behind these Ireland-inspired bridal portraits that As Ever Photography shared with us: to honor your heritage in subtle ways that reflect who you are personally. No need to go crazy with tradition or shower the scene with shamrocks (unless you want to of course!), just pay homage to your roots in the way that feels best to you as a bride. Kinda great, right?
Totally into this bronze smoky eye. (PS: We’ve got another sultry makeup look later this morning.)
Jennifer of As Ever Photography says, I lived in Ireland for six years and a piece of my heart will forever remain among her rolling green hills and rocky cliffs. I love creating styled shoots to express something about who I am as a photographer and the aesthetic elements that have influenced me. This editorial portrait session incorporates some of my favorite Irish bits and pieces… beautiful handmade linen and lace, Waterford Crystal rosary beads, a traditional St. Brigid’s cross and claddagh ring, and a nod to the emerald isle’s rich literary heritage.
All about those gold details.
This. Cake. Is. Divine. Agreed?
Thanks to As Ever Photography for showing us all the little ways we can celebrate our backgrounds!
