Patrick and Corinne’s wedding is equal parts rustic and romantic. A vineyard wedding just can’t be beat if you’re looking for both. Their goal was to reimagine one of their first dates amongst the vineyard, with the addition of 180 guests who could drink and dance in the moonlight. Does anything sound better? Thanks to Megan Sorel Photography for sending these photos our way!
Enlisting Flower Wild ended up being the best decision for flowers, even though they had a stressful experience with their first florist. These bouquets make it all worth it, yeah?
Corinne explains, When we were first dating, we had a really romantic day out at my family’s vineyard where we shared a bottle of wine, wandered the vines, and sat next to the pond. We loved the idea of recreating that day with all of our favorite people. Also we wanted to have our first dance under the huge, beautiful oak trees at the vineyard. Our wedding song was “California Stars” by Wilco so we got to have our first dance under the stars. It was as if no one was there except for the two of us.
Agate slice turned table number? Such a rad idea.
One of the best things about rustic weddings are the many opportunities for personal DIYs. They also added a tribute to Corinne’s brother. She says, Patrick and all the groomsmen carried a coin minted in 1980 to symbolize my brother, Lee, who passed away. Lee loved collecting coins so we wanted the groomsmen to carry a memory of him with them. He was born in 1980 which is why the coins were minted that year.
Cheers to C + P!
