Seeing that tomorrow’s JULY 1st (how?!), it’s safe to say that most are gearing up for the big weekend ahead. Best of all, the 4th of July is on a Saturday this year, making planning much easier than in celebrations past! As you may know, we teamed up with Coca-Cola this summer to inspire your special events, starting with our groom’s gift box idea from earlier this month. (And yes, we’re still taking entries to the mega Share a Coke giveaway we shared last time too, more info below!) Next up is a collection of beachy 4th of July party ideas to get the juices flowing. We enlisted the talents at Beau & Arrow for the planning + design, and Branch & Cole snapped all the images.
First order of biz: A VW van. Duh.

Beau & Arrow says it best, Inspired by the phrase summertime and the livin’ is easy, we strived to put together a gathering that was not only well-styled, but relaxed and easily achievable for all hostesses! Hinting at the 4th of July, we used the color palette of red, white, and blue but mixed in wooden + metallic accents, as well as lots of varied patterns for an eclectic look. Stars + stripes were also included, but in small details paired with gathered rugs + textiles. Unfussy wildflower flourishes here and there were the perfect accent to the van and intimate gathering. Delicious picnic food of corn on the cob, ribs, baked beans, sliders, and potato salad scream summer soiree. The personalized touch was the Coca-Cola bottle each friend received at their place-setting. A great surprise for an unsuspecting guest if you ask us!
Oh and is anyone whipping up any 4th of July treats this year? We’ll try our bestest to make something as pretty as the cake VG Bakery created for the occasion, but no promises!
