Where should we start with this destination beach wedding? Perhaps with Corrie + Brooks’ occupations? That would be pro wakeboarder + pro waterskier. So you can guess they’re pretty cool. But when you see their surfer style translated to a laidback venue for 36 guests and infused with just a touch of southern charm—this couple’s style exactly—there’s no doubt about it. And did we mention they pulled it off with a budget of $8,500? Yeah. They’re cool. Thanks to Chris Glenn for sharing the adorable photos!
My oh my, the Postcard Inn St. Petersburg seems rad.
Corrie tells it, We decided to do a first look and I am so glad that we did. Knowing that the day would be such a whirlwind we wanted to have a moment together to take it all in. Our photographer was able to catch it from afar. He got amazing photos from it without us even feeling like he was there.
DIY tutus are always a good idea, don’t you think?
We planned the wedding in 7 months. The only hurdles we had to deal with were time related, we couldn’t have our first weekend of choice with 7 months notice and it took me a little while to decide on a dress… When I finally did, it was a pinch to get it here in time! They also did all the décor themselves in that time.
Their first dance was to Ben Howard’s Old Pine + the walk was to the instrumental version. Such a good choice. Take a peek at the rest:
Congrats guys!
PS: Corrie’s Pinterest has a ton of bridal hairstyle inspo for those of you on the hunt!
