We love city weddings. What better time to pay a little homage to the place that brought you together than with I Do? Nicole is founder + CEO of Cienne NY (all of Cienne’s clothing is designed + made in NYC) and Ronan is a Belize resort owner (here + here), which both seem like pretty good gigs if you ask us. Being very design-driven folks, they wanted something a little non-traditional yet black tie, and totally focused on good food + good drink + good music. Speaking of modern and nontraditional, Forged in the North knocked it out of the park with the photos.
Their wedding style: Clean, modern, a mix of masculine and feminine
Nicole’s wedding dress was J. Mendel + her bridesmaid wore Zimmermann.
The invitations, programs, website, and photo booth were all DIY projects…
You know how we said good music was a giant MUST for N + R’s fete? Their fave moment ended up being their super fun “first dance”… Nicole says, Ho-Hey by The Lumineers was a group dance with vintage tambourines from the 1960’s and 70’s with lots of confetti! We didn’t want a first dance per se, so everyone was involved.
Congrats, Ronan and Nicole!
